Psychiatric Consultation & Medication Management
New Patient Evaluation -Psychiatric Consultation (60 minute visit)
A comprehensive psychiatric assessment which includes evaluating current complaints, history of the illness as well as medical history, followed by the creation of a personalized, holistic treatment plan. Psychiatric consultation affords a unique ability to offer a panoramic view of the patient, the illness, and the relationship between the two.
Medication Management (25 minute visit)
An initial psychiatric consultation is followed by 25-minute sessions as needed thereafter. These sessions are personalized psychopharmacology based on scientifically supported research, focusing on rational medication prescriptions, or de-prescribing if medically appropriate. Symptoms and progress are monitored by Measurement-Based Care methods.
Integrated Psychotherapy and Medication Management (30 to 45 minute visit)
A holistic approach that integrates psychopharmacology and psychotherapeutic approaches to address mood and anxiety symptoms as well as emotional or existential distress through cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy approaches.
